An original WWI First World War era 1907 pattern Lee Enfield sword bayonet by makers James A. Chapman Ltd. The bayonet having a hooked steel pommel with working push / release stud, wooden grip and cross guard with muzzle ring and forward facing quillon. The ricasso marked with Kings crown and 1907 date. Housed in a steel and leather wrapped scabbard. Measures approx 58cm.

J.A.C.James A Chapman Ltd produced only 300,000 bayonets compared to 25,000,000 by Wilkinson & Sanderson makers.
