A good 19th century named Sunderland jug, having two hand coloured, well decorated, scenes depicting 'West view of the Iron Bridge Sunderland' to one side, the other depicting a cathedral ruin with cattle and sheep in foreground, the front with verse below 'Edward & Sarah Boggis 1846', the spout with stylised foliate decoration and image of 'All Seeing Eye', the rim, surround and handle with coloured floral and foliate decoration with copper lustre highlights, 9 1/8in. (23.3cm.) high.

*Condition: Very good condition, two grazes to upper rim, slight rubbing, no chips, cracks or repair.
