A Victorian Royal Naval 1846 pattern officers sword, the 79cm blade, marked with starburst and 'PROVED' roundel, etched one side with Tudor crown and Royal Naval Fouled Anchor in between arches and foliate decoration the other side shows The Royal Arms with lion and unicorn rampant and motto Dieu et Mon Droit, gilt lions head pommel with fish skin grip, hinged brass guard with Tudor crown and anchor, complete with leather and brass scabbard, bullion cord.
