George II silver tankard, baluster form with scroll handle, assay marked, London 1754, Thomas Whipham, weight 355g.
The tankard is in very good condition, the surfaces are tarnished, the dark area in the photograph are reflections. There are six sizeable dimples/indentations around the lower body, below the waist, difficult to photograph, starting LHS bottom of the scroll handle, good clear hallmarks. Handle in good condition, no engravings, no repairs. Height 13cm
