A TRAPANI CORAL DEVOTIONAL PLAQUE, Sicily late 18th century to early 19th century, centred with a shell cameo of Pius VII in profile, within a surround of scrolling leafage and cherub masks with mother-of-pearl wings, pendant from a ribbon-tied foliate scroll, mounted on two gilt copper panels of graduated quatrefoil outline with foliate engraved Vitruvian scroll border to the rim, held within a later yellow silk lined and glazed hanging wall case, 17cm wide x 28cm high
