A 19th century oak and inlaid long case clock, the painted arched dial signed C. Broderick, Boston, decorated to the arch with fruit and to the corners with flowers, 8 day movement twin train movement striking on a bell, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and orb finials, case with canted edges, with key, winder, pendulum and two weights, 48.5 by 23 by 217cm high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
