A FINE AND RARE 17TH CENTURY CHINESE CARVED MUTTON JADE GOOSE FORM SCHOLARS SCROLL WEIGHT Late Ming/Qing, carved with head turned and laying upon folding wings. 10 cm x 6.5 cm. Provenance: Inherited from the vendors Grandfather, who served in the Indian Army in the early part of the 20th century, it is believed the jade was acquired in Japan C1910-20.
