Asprey & Co., London, boulle box, late 19th Century, possibly for string, having a sloping front and button operating catch, the side panel with two brass brackets, width 7.5cm, height 8cm, depth 9cm

There are some minor losses and splits to the tortoiseshell. There is a scratch through the brass fretwork on the front panel. Minor knocks and scrapes elsewhere consistent with age and use.
