A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE REGIMENT. A Great War Pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 41685 Pte W. Bennett S. Staff R. Walter Bennett from Abbots Langley in Hertfordshire, served with the 1st Battalion of the South Staffordshire Regiment, he was killed in action on the 26th October 1917 and is buried at Zantvoorde British Cemetery in Belgium. *CR Normal light surface marks. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
