1951 Norman Model C, 98cc. Registration number MXS 135 (non transferrable). Frame number C693. Engine number 801/8976.
Sold with the V5C, and two books.
Norman motorcycles were built in Ashford, Kent, well away from the industry's traditional Midlands home. Originally enamellers and platers, Norman turned to bicycle manufacture in the mid-1930s and exhibited its first powered two-wheelers - the 98cc Motobyk autocycle and a 122cc lightweight motorcycle - in 1938, both of which were Villiers powered. Missing its voluminous engine enclosure, it otherwise appears in good condition.
