A Chinese silver strainer (possibly for wine?); the bowl with a pierced decorative border depicting fruiting vine and two shou characters, the connecting ferule also decorated in high relief with grapes, vine leaves etc., the apple-green jade handle carved with a smaller shou character and leafy tendrils and flower heads, the terminal modelled as an open-winged bat (16cm)
