Railway. Preserved Steam. A collection of approx. 400 x 35mm, colour slides, on Kodak and Fuji film stock. The collection is housed in pvc protective wallets. The slides were taken by the late Christopher John Yapp of Leeds in 1997 and appear to be whole films, as such they do include some non-railway subjects-these have not been included in the count. We will be selling other slides from the collection in future auctions. The slides feature a variety of transport subjects, including: preserved steam on heritage lines as well as on railtour specials, narrow gauge steam, modern traction with some preserved diesels and one or two buses and preserved trams. Locations noted: East Lancs. Railway, Scout Green, Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, Great Central Railway, Midland Rail Centre, Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, North Norfolk Railway, North Yorkshire Moors Railway etc. The slides come with a comprehensive caption list, all the slides are numbered to coincide with the captions. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
