Star Lot: Aaron McAfee (Irish, 20th Century) An original lively Aaron McAfee (Irish 20th Century) oil on board painting titled 'Maureen'. Features a portrait of a woman. Rendered in energetic brushstrokes in a vivid colour palette. Portrays crimson reds with lemon yellows and shades of green. Signed lower right. Housed in a wooden gilt frame. Titled to verso. McAfee's work has been offered at auction multiple times with works fetching $230 at Gormleys.
