A 19th century 8 day striking longcase clock by John Mountford of London, with subsidiary second dial and date aperture. The brass dial is engraved with phoenix surrounded by ornate brass spandrels depicting cherubs. The hood is inlaid with ebony and features ebonised gadrooned edging, with rosewood panels to either side. The case also features ebonised gadrooned edging. Dial measures 11", total height 6' 11" (210cm) (approx).
