SMALL JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD OVIFORM SATSUMA VASE, well-painted and richly gilded with two encircling registers to the body, one with a procession of tiny figures before a lake with islands, the register below with four panels of flowers, divided by gilt diapered borders, the waisted neck with two roundels of figures reserved on a floral enamelled and richly gilt brocaded ground, unmarked but from a good workshop, 5in (12.5cm) high (c/r perfect condition)
