A cased pair of George V silver shell shaped butter dishes and knives by The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co, of typical form on three ball feet, each dated Birmingham 1911, 12.2cm long, each spoon with shell motif to thumb piece, each dated Sheffield 1912, 10cm long, gross weight of set 4.04ozt (4)
Condition is good. The bowls and rims of the dishes have some dents, and there is some misshaping to the scalloped border of one example over an area measuring 4cm, and some small splits were the handle meets the border of the bowl, but there are no other signs of major damage or repair. The ball feet are in good order, with some very small dents, but no piercing or major damage. The knives are both in very good order. All hallmarks show minor to moderate wear. All pieces show general scratch, wear and tear consistent with use.
