possibly Shang or Western Zhou period, carved in a stylised form with incised features, 7cm long x 2.6cm wide, in a fitted wooden box

Provenance: An English private collection. Acquired in Tokyo in the 1990's by the grandfather of the present owner, and thence by descent.
