WW2 British / USAAF and later Aircraft Stenciled Panels taken from crashed aircraft to include: Four Panels from Short Stirling Mk.III LJ628 of No.1654 Heavy Conversion Unit, RAF flew into the ground on Upper Commons on the 21st July 1944: Four small panels from USAAF C-47 42-108982 crashed at Ashton Clough 24th July 1945: Six panels from the Crash site of RAF Gloster Meteors WA791 and VZ518 on Sliddens Moss, Black Hill, Peak District 12th April 1951: Section of Tire from a USAAF Consolidated B24 Liberator bomber.
Good original condition. Recovery locations are written on the reverse sides in black ink marker pen.
