R.M.S LUSITANIA:
Extremely rare Ingersoll Eclipse white metal pocket watch, worn on the Lusitania during her fatal voyage, the dial heavily water stained, the hands are frozen in time at 2.32, around four minutes after Lusitania sank. The watch was owned by Walter Storch, a Second-Class passenger who was rescued. He was treated in hospital for cracked ribs. Accompanying the lot is Mr Storch's wedding ring and a selection of research the vendor has undertaken together with Lusitania-related books and medal. The collection is sold via direct family descent.
