A Regency mahogany campaign writing slope by William Dobson of 166, Strand, London; early C19th, with brass trim to corners and brass carrying handles. Internally there are two glass inkwells with lids and brass trim, a lidded compartment and pen tray; the interior lined with red velvet and William Dobson paper maker's label on the reverse of the slope, additional drawer to the side. Please note the slope needs significant restoration, A/F, 21" long x 10" wide x 8" high
