1895 registered "Pead" cover to London, franked by 1895 short set of 7 to 10c, tied by four light strikes of Brunei FIRST DAY cds (22 JULY) in combination with Labuan 1894-96 18c olive-brown (SG 71) tied by Labuan transit cds (JY 25 1895), to pay external postage. Also on face, "R" in oval and curved "REGISTERED/No" (both applied at Labuan) and red London arrival cds (25 AU). Delivery backstamped (26 AU). Some characteristic imperfections (minor tones, Brunei stamps with some trimmed perfs), still attractive and scarce. SG 1-7
