A dressing table jar with hinged cover, early 19th century, by repute by Perrin Geddes & Co, of oval form, the diamond cut body with silver plated hinged mount, the cover relief cut with a gadrooned vignette depicting a lion among scrolls (designed to be viewed through the open cover), star cut base, 12cm W x 9cm D x 10cm H (at fault)
