A Victorian mid 19th century needlework Quaker School religious sampler. The sampler worked with coloured silks on a linen ground. The panel reading the alphabet, & a prayer with Adam & Eve by Matilda Thompson in the 10th year of her age. Framed & glazed in later burr walnut frame. Measures approx. 34 x 34cm (panel) 40 x 40cm (framed).
