Imperial German. WW1 Prussian Dragoon Pickelhaube. A very good example with the Light Dragoon pattern squared front peak. Fitted to the front with a gilt Prussian plate, the crown fitted with screw top spike with pearl ring cruxiform base secured by four plain domed rivets. Gilt bosses, retaining single Prussian State cockade, which support gilt chin scales. The interior with a leather 12 tongue liner. Overall near VGC, gilt furniture remains bright and matching. Quality would indicate a Wachtmeister of Fahnrich grade,.
