A glass-filled ruby and diamond dress ring, centred with a claw-set oval cabochon glass-filled ruby of approximately 14.6mm x 10.5mm, flanked by diamond-set shoulders of foliate design and bordered either side by a row of seventeen single-cut diamonds, set in yellow metal testing as 18ct, size Q, 7.9 grams. Glass-filled ruby is considered a composite stone. Some diamonds are testing as possible laboratory-grown replacements.
