Qing dynasty, decorated with flowers against a blue diapered ground, 28cm high (2)

Provenance: Thomas Child (1841-1898) was a pioneering photographer who produced a large body of photographs during his time in Beijing during the 1870's. He was close to the Emperor and the court. The family believe a number of objects were gifts from the Imperial family.
