Wooden Pistol Box with brass plaque to lid engraved to "Capt J Paynter, Scots Fusilier Guards". Size 340mm x 189mm x 65mm. Green baize lining with multiple compartments for the pistol and tools. Lock marked "Patent Lever". No key.
Good overall condition. Lock has one catch broken off. Some wood loss where lock has been forced. Lid fits well.
