Property of a deceased estate - stamps, philately, philatelic - Great Britain: 1840 Mulready 1d envelope stereo A133 used in 1841 from London to Cockermouth, cancelled by red Maltese Cross and ‘TP Grays Inn’ (small area of flap missing), matched with 1d letter sheet ‘A57’ used in 1842 from Canterbury (cds on reverse) to London neatly cancelled by black Maltese Cross, (with printed advert of ‘THE ECONOMIC LIFE ASSURANCE SOCIETY’ inside), fine.
