A late 19th Century Royal Doulton stoneware puzzle jug, the body with tubelined motto 'Within this jug there is good liquor 'Tis fit for parson or for vigar, but how to drink and not to spill, will try the utmost of your skill', impressed mark, height 22cm.
Several small firing imperfections, but otherwise in good order.
