Extremely Rare 1856 Pattern Percussion Rifled Service Pistol Fitted To Take A Detachable Stock
22 bore, rifled, 10 inch barrel. Front blade sight and military pattern lock plate with line edge engraving. Stamped "1859 Tower", the tang with crowned VR. Military percussion hammer. Polished, full stock with various Ordnance stamps, WD and broad arrow with stocker "Moxham". Brass butt cap with extended grip ears to accommodate the fitting for a detachable shoulder stock. Brass trigger guard and end cap with single ramrod pipe. Steel captive ramrod. Good clean example.
