A box containing a large quantity of coins – mainly pre-decimal copper also approximately 165 commemorative crowns, of which the vast majority are Churchill crowns and the Queen’s 1977 Silver Jubilee (including a roll of 20). The other coins comprise old pennies in 7 bags (see back row of the 1st photo), 4 bags of halfpennies (2nd back row), and some farthings, decimal halfpennies, brass threpences, and non-precious sixpences, 17 halfcrowns, a florin and tenpences. There are a few pre-1946 and pre-1920 coins (see separate photo) and a bag containing more than 260 foreign coins from the 19th but mainly the 20th century. Apart from the crowns, the coins are generally low grade.
