A PAIR OF SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN GARNITURE VASES AND COVERS, mid 19th century, the ovoid bodies moulded in high relief with four quatrefoil panels with leaf borders and tassel, each painted in polychrome enamels with an inn scene after Teniers and three landscape panels of a continuous river landscape with with figures, all signed E Venez(?), on a green ground, the swept socle with bolt through to the square base, with gilt metal rims, knops and bases, 18 3/4" high overall (Illustrated) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. At some point the covers have been sellotaped to the bases, some still remains and is difficult to remove, but this doesn't seem to have affected the gilding,otherwise generally good with no apparent damage. Both with later hardwood bases
