Mounted to reverse canvas backing, Van Ingen stencil and partial Van Ingen label visible, along with serial number faintly beginning with ‘30’ therefore having left the factory circa 1944. Provenance: Scottish estate, shot by Ghurka Officer Gouldsbury.
(133cm front limb to limb, 174cm tip of tail to neck line, 122cm rear limb to limb).
Condition report: Fine condition, the body in near perfect original order. Retaining excellent colour and supple condition throughout, fur unworn.
