Railway. B.R. Steam. A box of Approx. 700, black and white, postcard size prints. The prints feature a variety of ex LMS (scarce photo of 46202), Southern, LNER, GWR and constituent locomotives mostly in BR days. The selection also includes a few BR Standard locomotives, some diesels/electrics and a few photos taken on the Tallylyn and Ravenglass & Eskdale Railways. The good quality prints are from a variety of sources including: Initial Photographics, G.W. Sharpe, H.C. Casserley, P.H. Groom, David Lawrence, Hugh Davies, Roger Holmes, Norman Simmons, Bob Barnard, R.K. Blencowe and others. Most/all of the prints are well captioned on the reverse.
