Fine gilt crowned star mounted with Garter and laurel sprays bearing scroll THE SOUTH YORKSHIRE LIGHT REGIMENT; black velvet centre with silver French horn and central rose resting on CEDE NULLIS scroll. Three loops. Minor verdigris stain. VGC King Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regt) redesignated King Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in 1887.
