A 19th century taxidermy study of a dog, possibly a Chinese Muff Dog or similar short haired dog, set within glazed wooden framed case, with a velvet curtain and cushion background, the case approx 58cm x 50cm x 29cm, without makers marks but indistinctly named to the base "J Osman?, St Aldates, Oxford, 1866"
