W* Ostermeier (20th Century) Continental town scene with traveller and figures at rest, together with a companion, a pair, watercolour, one signed lower left, the other signed and dated 1904 lower right, both 12½ x 9¼in. (32cm x 23.5cm).
* Both works in a broadly comparable condition. Glazed. Slight cockle to sheet. Some mild time staining and yellowing to sheet, most notable in the clouds and less worked areas of paper. Colour depth remains broadly good. The odd minor foxing spot to the first example. Not examined out of the frame.
