1859 (Oct) 'Sherwin' 2d deep blue on bluish paper, pos. 10 on sheet, imperforate with mostly large margins, neatly cancelled by mute barred oval which leaves portrait largely clear. Typical slight imperfections (pressed creasing, tiny natural airhole), but very fine appearance and much above average for this classic rarity. BPA Cert (2022). SG 40, £8,000
