Beautiful Early to Mid Victorian Long case clock with painted dial. Housed in a lovely Oak case of good colour with short door indicative of an earlier clock, the mechanism is a 30 day weight driven movement which has been recently serviced and in excellent condition keeping good time. The makers signature has been obscured over time but the face remains fresh with subsidary second and day dial and is decorated with flowers and gilt painted birds to the corners. The top decoration shows and amorial crest with a possible Masonic connection. approx 80 inches tall with brass finial decoration. Gorgeous long cased clock. See photos.
