Fine rare die-stamped silvered three and a quarter inch high flaming grenade, the ball mounted with gilt circlet ROYAL TYRONE FUSILIERS; VR cypher to centre. Four loops. VGC Unit had the distinction of being the first regiment to mount guard on Dublin Castle carrying the Union flag. Became 4th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in 1881.
