Musgrave, Taunton an oak longcase clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a bell with the twelve-inch square brass dial engraved with black Roman numerals, five-minute outer numerals, floral corner decoration and maker's name Musgrave, Taunton, with a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and decorative blued-steel hands, the oak case with blind fret above the dial, quarter columns to the hood and typical Westcountry chimney, height 202cm. Note: George Musgrave is recorded as working in Taunton from 1760 until at least 1790.
