Robert Maybee . 'The Loss of 'Minneha' off Peninnie Head, Scilly, 1874'. Lines Written on the Loss of the Ship 'Minneha' [sic] Which was Wrecked on the Head of Peninnis, Scilly, On the 18th of January, 1874 (No Imprint, but probably Saundry, Penzance). A 4to sheet verse of 11 four-line stanzas, 253mm x 190mm. While all of Maybee's broadsheets are uncommon, this is one of his rarest, with R. M. B. Baxters (1973) biography of him (Robert Maybee: The Scillonian Poet) referring to just 20 existing and with the 'Loss of the Minnehaha' known only from the version in the 'Sixty Eight YearsExperience' (p.33); i.e in the writer's biography. A very scarce survivor in very good condition.
