A Chinese carved hardwood opium bed, 20th century The canopied top with panelled facade applied with relief carved scenes of figures in landscapes, auspicious flowers and precious objects, the sides and back with open fretwork, raised on rectangular section supports terminating in scroll feet, united by plain stretchers. 200cm wide x 107cm deep x 201cm high
Generally good overall, solid and sturdy construction. Minor cosmetic marks in places and some deliberate 'ageing'.
