FINE EARLY PAIR OF BICORNUAL BASKETS (JAWUN), HERBERTON GORGE, NORTH QUEENSLAND, woven lawyer cane and natural earth pigments (one with custom stand) A crescent shaped, woven bicornual basket made from lengths of split lawyer cane, without handles. The remains of an overall painted design executed in black pigment and red and yellow ochres can be seen adhering to the outside surface of the basket. Approx Lengths 27cm, 31cm.
