An early 20c French stereoscope by Richard Fréres, 'Le Taxiphote' and numbered 3466. It has two achromatic lenses which are adjustable for eye width and focus and an automatic slide changer operated by a lever on the left side side. It uses glass stereo slides 4.5cm x 10.7cm which can be loaded in multiples and changed at random. It is housed in a walnut cabinet and has a separate storage box for up to 300 slides. This example has approx. 240 slides with it.

The stereoscope is complete and seems in working order. Walnut cases would benefit from polishing
