A DAYAK MANDAU SWORD HILT, BORNEO, INDONESIA
probably 19th century or later, with antler hilt carved ornately with leeches amongst undergrowth and a demonic head, with characteristic plaited fibrous grip (missing hair tufts to the terminal), 14cm long (from hilt to shaft)
