A LARGE AND INTERESTING EARLY 19TH CENTURY NEEDLEWORK PICTURE, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1820-30. Worked in coloured silks, using a variety of stitches, on a canvas ground, depicting a formal young ladies finishing school, with a line of twenty-two identically dressed women, some at genteel leisurely pursuits, in front of a grand redbrick building, with formal front garden, framed and glazed, 65cm wide, 47.5cm high.
