PROVENANCE: From a Prominent Private Collection, acquired from Art Ancient London; Formerly in the collection of Mr. Michael Dennis O'Hara. O'Hara was a prominent numismatist, author and collector who later in life developed a passion for Chinese terracotta art of the Han - Song period. He sought only the finest examples of their type, buying during the late 1980s. 

NOTE: This lot is sold with a duplicate copy of an Oxford thermoluminescence certificate of authenticity, sample no. C114k75.
