Composed of rose wood
On four feet with an ornate lock
Inside:
[a] Fossilised (?) mammoth tooth (?)
[b] An 18th century Polynesian fish hook
[c] A tiny carved wooden skull (probably collected on a later voyage)
[d] A small lightweight piece of pierced coral (?) with aboriginal (?) designs applied
