A George III mahogany cased John Blackford Plymouth Docks eight-day maritime longcase grandfather clock. The clock having three brass finials atop over a glazed front hood with reeded columns to sides. The clock face having an half moon shaped painted top with Man o'War ships over an enamelled 8-day movement face with Arabic numerals to the chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture. Painted shells motifs to each corner. The body having a panelled front door raised on bracket feet. Measures approx. 205cm x 46cm x 24cm.
